Before things really get going again, here’s an edit from 2013 – and a good reminder of winter after the last heatwave.
Back in 2013, a Welcome Winter edit was created at AbsolutPark, with Vivaldi’s “Winter” as the soundtrack. Snow, park and good vibes – and the anticipation of the first sessions of the season. Today, the edit is a short look back at AbsolutPark back then – some things have stayed the same, while others have changed.
Even though AbsolutPark has evolved over the years, one thing will always remain the same: as soon as winter gets closer, the anticipation for the first snow, the first runs and the first days in the park begins.
From 2013 to the 2026/27 Season
A lot has happened at AbsolutPark since the winter of 2013. The park has continued to evolve, lines have been reshaped and new sections have been added. Today, the snowpark stretches across around 1.5 kilometres and features more than 100 features – from beginner-friendly boxes and rails to challenging jumps and technical rail setups for experienced riders.
With different lines and sections for different levels, riders can find the right terrain to suit their skills, work on new tricks and progress throughout the season.
Pro Line
The Pro Line at AbsolutPark is one of Europe’s most renowned freestyle setups. Perfectly shaped jumps, precisely tuned take-offs and professional shaping by our experienced crew create ideal conditions for snowboarders and freeskiers at the highest level. As the host of the legendary SpringBattle, the Pro Line stands for international freestyle culture, progression and outstanding performance.

Rail Line | Halfpipe
The Rail & Halfpipe Line at AbsolutPark offers a versatile freestyle setup for snowboarders and freeskiers of all levels. A varied selection of rails and the 100-metre-long halfpipe with four-metre-high walls provide ideal conditions for progression, creativity and learning new tricks.
Level: Advanced
Medium Line
The Medium Line at AbsolutPark offers the ideal setup to develop your skills, learn new tricks and prepare for bigger obstacles. Located directly at the top station of the Absolut Shuttle, the line runs down to the bottom station of the Powder Shuttle, providing ideal conditions for controlled progression. Perfect for riders looking to take their freestyle skills to the next level, step by step.
Level: Intermediate
Jib Park
The Jib Park at AbsolutPark is located directly in front of the ChillHouse and features a compact setup with a variety of rails and boxes. The line is ideal for creative runs, technical tricks and developing your individual style.
Level: Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Lil' Stash
The Lil’ Stash at AbsolutPark is the perfect introduction to the world of freestyle for kids and beginners. With wide boxes and easy-to-ride rails, the line offers a playful setup for gaining first experience in the snowpark and discovering the fun of freestyle.
Level: Beginner
Cross Run
The Cross Run at AbsolutPark offers an exciting boardercross experience for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. With two separate starts for different skill levels, the course is suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. Perfect for sessions with friends and thrilling runs with a real race feel.
Level: Beginner - Intermediate
Following the AP Build-Up
Long before the first run of the season, the work in the park begins. Snowmaking, shaping and setting up the features are all part of getting the park ready, along with the final work on the different lines.

Starting September 26, 2026
Planning to spend more time at AbsolutPark next winter? The ALL-IN Card White pre-sale starts on September 26, 2026.
The 2026/27 season runs from 5 December 2026 to 4 April 2027, with the Snowpark open daily from 09:30 to 16:00 during winter operations.
The ALL-IN Card White is a good option for anyone planning more than just a single trip to AbsolutPark and looking to ride in Flachauwinkl regularly throughout the season.
Planning Your Winter at AP
For a longer session in the park or a stay of several days, it’s worth planning your trip early.
On the AbsolutPark website, you’ll find information on accommodation in the region, equipment rental and freestyle lessons. This makes it easy to plan your stay, equipment and other activities with the respective local partners.
Those coming to AbsolutPark at the start of the season can also plan for JibKing on 12 and 13 December 2026. The event brings snowboarders and freeskiers of different levels together at AbsolutPark for the first sessions of the winter.
