The Jib Park at AbsolutPark Flachauwinkl is a creative playground for snowboarders and freeskiers. Located directly in front of the ChillHouse, the compact setup features plenty of rails, boxes and creative jib obstacles – suitable for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced riders.
Unlike a classic park line, it’s not just about hitting one feature after another. The Jib Park is all about creativity, style and finding your own lines. Throughout the season, the setup is regularly reshaped with new and creative jib obstacles, keeping every session fresh. The Stair Set is the only permanent feature in the Jib Park.

Beginner to Advanced
The Jib Park covers all levels – Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. This allows riders to progress step by step, try new tricks, mix up their lines and develop their own style within the same area.
From simple boxes and rails for first-time jibbers to more technical features for advanced riders, the park offers plenty of opportunities for progression. This mix makes the Jib Park one of the most versatile areas in AbsolutPark.
A Setup That Keeps Changing
What works today might look completely different on your next visit. That’s exactly what makes the Jib Park so versatile: throughout the season, the setup is regularly reshaped with new and creative jib obstacles. This creates fresh lines, combinations and opportunities to approach familiar tricks in new ways or try out something completely new.
Whether it’s rails, boxes or other creative features, the different obstacles invite riders to interpret the setup in their own way and develop their individual style. Beginners can use the park to get their first taste of jibbing, while Intermediate and Advanced riders can take on more technical features and experiment with new trick combinations.
The only constant in the Jib Park is the AP Stair Set. As a permanent part of the setup, it’s not only a popular feature for everyday sessions but also the centrepiece of one of the first major events of the season: the JibKing. This is where creative jibbing meets real contest vibes – right in front of the ChillHouse and at the heart of the action at AbsolutPark.

Jib King: When the Jib Park Becomes a Contest Spot
Located directly in front of the ChillHouse, the Jib Park is also the stage for the JibKing, the traditional jib contest that kicks off the winter season. The Amateur Contest brings riders of different ages and skill levels together to take on the open Jib Park setup.
In 2025, 125 riders took part in the Amateur Contest – 55 snowboarders and 70 freeskiers.
In 2026, the JibKing returns on December 12 and 13. While the amateurs will take on the Jib Park on December 12, the Pro Division will follow on December 13 at the Stair Set. The Pro Finals will be broadcast live on YouTube.
